What are the algorithms for efficient placement of the vehicles in a city? What does higher service look like? Faster response when you ask for a car? A nicer car. Etc. And the algorithm would have to account for that.

You'd still have the tiering of nice cars and cheap ones--it'll just be different.

Fun to think about, though.

Re:

I think we should still care if we're behaving in a way that makes people unhappy, if we think it's justified that they are unhappy.

In other words, we should use other people as a means of checking ourselves for improper behavior when we get excited about things or we become too reclusive to realize we're being inconsiderate. That's what I do anyway.

But there are some people who are just unhappy and will complain constantly about anything you do. So you don't want to mix the two groups. If you try to make THOSE people happy you'll always be unhappy. You have to use "normal", sane people as the judge--not the crazy lot!

But I like the idea of simplification you're talking about. I think it's almost always a solid approach.

I hope you find what you're looking for, man. I'm always here if you want to talk about stuff.

Re: kenswain - Blog - Marriage

was using your site to test connectivity and seen this...You are the sweetest husband! I am glad that you are married to me...I love you!!!!

Re: http://kenswain.com/blog/2012/4/19/simple-desks-dave-fayrams-desk-something-about-this-is-just.html

Seriously excellent.

Re: kenswain - Blog - Flying like a bird!

Very cool!..
